You have created the SAP Printer Format Type and Page Format, and now you want to assign your newly created Page Format to Device Type.
General:
You have to assign page format to device type before being able to using it. Always assign page format in Development and transport it to production.
1. Goto SPAD or menu

2. Click Full Administration and Choose Device Type

3. Position the cursor to device type you want to initialize and from menu Goto -> Formats

Click create button and type the format you want to initialize.

From menu Device Type Formats -> Copy Format

Choose Format you want to copy from.
After that you have to save your work.
